As Twitter gains ground on Facebook in popularity, more and more websites & applications are being developed to cater to the Tweeters.

Here are some useful Twitter Tools & Websites:

• TrackThis – Allows you to track your shipping packages via Twitter
• Twitter Feed (I’m using this to post my entries onto Twitter) & FeedBlitz – Allows you to post your blog feeds onto your Twitter stream.
• Twittercal – Allows you to add events to your Google Calendar using direct message
• tweetbeep – Notifies you whenever you (or selected keywords) are mentioned in the Tweetesphere
• StrawPoll – Allows you to create a poll on Twitter
• MrTweet – Recommends a list of people to you that is worth following. You can discover interesting people who are following you on Twitter but you don’t seem to be reciprocating.
• TwitterGram – Allows you to link your Flickr account
• twanslate – Allows you to directly translate text
  Follow twanslate and send a direct message with the text you want to get translated along with the language code of the target language (en for English, fr from French, etc.).
