The bugbear for many Nexus One & Android users have been the lack of sync-friendly options with Microsoft Outlook. There is actually a friendly option to enable you to synchronize your Outlook calendar with Google calendar which will sync with your Nexus One. This makes things very convenient and uniform when you can enter information in either and they all stay synchronized… without paying exorbitant fees for another app!

  1. Download & install the latest Google Calendar program (more instructions on the Google website).
  2. Enter your login information and select 2-way sync.
  3. Set your interval (minimum is 10 minutes)
  4. Now all your entries will be sync simultaneously!

To force the sync, simply right-click the Google Sync icon in your task tray, & click Sync.

Note that unfortunately it does not sync your Outlook tasks.
