N1 How To: Typing in Chinese

Need to type chinese characters on your Nexus One? Here’s how:

  1. Search for ‘Pinyin IME’ in the official android market and install it.
  2. Goto Settings > Language & Keyboard > Tick Google Pinyin
  3. When composing message or email, long press in the context area
  4. Edit text > Input method; select the Google Pinyin input method
  5. 你现在可以开始用 中文写作!
