Do dog owners tend to buy a canine of the opposite sex as opposed to their own? I think this would be an interesting piece of research, though on a personal count of friends with dogs, it seems to be the case. I don’t think its just a case of pure coincidence, though I did pick a bitch because I didn’t want her to be peeing all over the place and going out humping up the wrong tree.
