What do you do with a government that controls an entity supplying power, which made $1 billion in profits, raise tariffs by 22%?

What do you do with a government that raises fees for wards in the very beds we would reside in when we fall ill?

What do you do with a government that draws more bus lanes to encourage people to take public transport, then ups the transport fees by 6%?

Of course, that fare increase is to pay for the yellow paint.

Public transport firms like SBS Transit, made a profit of $50 million last year.

We complain, rant and rave, and then we continue breathing.

I wonder what the bonuses look like at Temasek or GIC.

What do you do with a government that holds an entity that controls the fixed line market raises subscription rates by 10%, call charges by 14%?

Of course, once again this fare increase is to pay for the SingTel F1 2009.
